Smallbore Rifle County Meetings

The Nottinghamshire Rifle Association holds two meetings for all its affiliated clubs that shoot smallbore rifle.

The Robin Hood Smallbore Rifle Meeting

The Robin Hood Meeting is usually held annually in April at Ravenshead Range
by the kind invitation of the Notts and Derbys Vintage Arms Society

The course of fire is 40 shots at 50m and 40 shots at 100yd in fully squadded details
The first detail starts at 9am and the last one at 4pm, each lasting 60mins
Competitors may choose which detail they shoot in, subject to availability

Competitors will be classified according to their 25yd averages on NSRA BM 1989 targets calculated from the best five of their last six competition cards that have been officially scored. Averages must be verified by a club official.
Class A is for averages of 98.0 and over, Class B 96.0 to 97.9, Class C 94.0 to 95.9, and Class D 93.9 and below.
There are separate winners lists in each Class for Juniors, Ladies and Veterans (over 65)

The SB County Championship Meeting is held annually in October at Ravenshead Range
by the kind invitation of the Notts and Derbys Vintage Arms Society
