Lightweight Sport Rifle and Bench Rest Competitions
Winter 2017-18
The Winter 2017-18 season of lightweight sport rifle shooting has now concluded and we are able to congratulate the winners of the various competitions held.
The five competitions offered were:–
- LSR Precision Prone Unsupported
- LSR Standing Unsupported
- LSR Mixed Prone and Standing Unsupported
- LSR Benchrest
- Bolt Action Benchrest
We are pleased to say that entries were up on previous seasons with 25 shooters representing 4 clubs.
The competitions and the number of entries are shown below.

With the 15 shooters in the LSR Standing Unsupported, the competition was split into two divisions.
Our congratulations go to the winners in each of the competitions, who were:–

- LSR Standing Unsupported - Div. 1 - R. Haslam, Awsworth & Kimberley R.C.
- LSR Standing Unsupported - Div. 2 - A. Kwa, Langar R.C.
- LSR Mixed Prone and Standing Unsupported - I. Reeves, Mansfield & District R.C.
- LSR Benchrest - I. Reeves, Mansfield & District R.C.
- Bolt Action Benchrest - R Robbins, Nottingham City R.C.
