Message from our Chairman regarding the Coronavirus outbreak
Having listened to the latest briefings from the government on the coronavirus, the NottsRA council have decided that we need to take some measures to keep our members from putting themselves in harms way.
1) We have decided to cancel the summer postal competitions. We know a number of ranges are closing, and for those which stay open, we did not want to put pressure on anyone to go in to shoot a card to a deadline. Sorry to everyone who has already signed up for the competitions this summer. Refunds will be made accordingly. We hope the world will have calmed down in time for the next winter season but will review that nearer the time.
2) The AGM in April will be 'held' by email instead of in person. We will send out more details in due course.
The council have decided not to meet up in person for the time being but will instead be working by email. We are watching the situation unfold and will make decisions on county teams and the black powder weekend going forwards.
If anyone has any questions or feedback then please feel free to get in touch with me via "firstname.lastname@example.org".
